A 10-year-old boy has won the heart of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez with his chivalary by shielding climate change activist Greta Thunberg from photographers at her own Washingotn DC press event.The video, which has gone viral came when Zayne Cowie appeared to become very defensive of 16-year-old Greta when she was surrounded by other young climate activists who attended her call for change with lawmakers on Capitol Hill.Appearing to misunderstand that the photographers were invited there to document Thunberg, he sweetly and bravely spread his arms and acted as a human shield.AOC was so taken by his actions that she told her followers that he was a 'great example' for the world Although Thunberg readily understands that the photographers are there to capture her photo as she goes head to head with politicians this week, the adorable deed made everyone smile. The sweet moment went viral online and many, including Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, praised Cowie for trying to protect Thunberg. Ocasio-Cortez said: 'For everyone who feels confused about how to act in 2019, #GenGND is a great example for the world.' #GenGND refers to 'Generation Green New Deal', a moniker given to Generation Z kids who are focused on advocating for climate change initiatives. Cowie responded to Ocasio-Cortez tweet by reminding followers to attend the upcoming 'Now let's talk about the #ClimateEmergency and #ClimateStrike Sept 20, we need everyone. I willl be out at City Hall at 10, then going to Foley Sqaure at noon.'  Ocasio-Cortez's tweet has garnered more than 46,000 likes and 6,300 retweets. Other social media users applauded Cowie's protective instinct, like writer Andrea González-Ramírez who wrote: 'brb crying'.Podcast host Katy Stoll gushed over the moment saying: 'This is. So. Sweet.'One commentor wrote: 'This darling boy put a bow of optimism on mt day. If that's the generation coming up... I'm respecting them big time.'
