The Design of Men and Women Within the Assembly

The Design of Men and Women Within the Assembly In this teaching, we look at some of Paul's more controversial and misunderstood words in regards to women being silent in the assembly setting. Why does Paul even command this? Is Paul being chauvinistic or are we missing something? How do these passages relate to the family as a unit and the respective gender roles within it? What is one of the biggest signs that western society is being judged? Does our modern western mindset in regards to the design of men and women undermine our very families and assemblies, and even prevent us from having the discussions we ought to be having?

In the second half, we start looking at why Paul gives the command that women are to be silent within the assembly setting, and how they are to learn from their husbands. How does usurping of authority point us back to the events that happened in the garden? What are the results of not obeying the rules clearly laid out by the apostles in regards to how men and women are to operate within the assembly setting? Are we creating our own demise by not following these rules? Are we allowing sin to take root by not operating to these principles? And how do we practically apply these principles in our modern day? Join us as we tackle a topic that is poorly understood and far too few dare to speak on.

We hope this teaching is a blessing to you.
