Mo-Mo-Paradise opened their two locations in Los Angeles. This is a great location because it is in a plaza with many parking space available. The waitlist is always long so we came early friday night to check in at 5:30 and got seated within 10 minutes.
Currently, Mo-Mo-Paradise can be found in Japan, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, USA, Cambodia, and Indonesia. Mo-Mo-Paradise brand focuses on traditional Japanese “hot pot” with a modern twist. They offer a wide variety of quality international and local meats and vegetables that is cooked shabu shabu or sukiyaki style at your table.
The restaurant was organized, clean, with a welcoming atmosphere. If you want AYCE Shabu Shabu, definitely check out Mo-Mo Paradise. For dinner, it is $30 per person which is quite expensive but it's worth. They automatically add 16% tip, so your total after tax and tip is $35.50 for dinner. +$2 if your group gets more than one soup base.
There are four soup broths to choose from: Shabu, Sukiyaki, Kimchi and Tonkatsu. We orderd the Shabu and Tonkotsu broths, both were delicious! They even have rice and curry!
All of the meats were delicious and good qualitỵ Veggies, mushrooms, potatoes, sweet potatoes, wood ear fungus, tofu, curry, rice, Daikon, and other items are at a side bar. Comes with all you can drink fountain drinks with house blends of juices (including Boba and lychee). The lychee yogurt drink was too sweet.
