Government plan to suspend Parliament, Boris Johnson announces

The government has announced it will ask the Queen to suspend Parliament, likely on 10 September and hold a Queen's speech afterwards. This means that MPs who are opponents of a no-deal Brexit will have less time to pass laws that could stop it.
