This man lives downstairs from me :LAST nights insanity that he periodically stopped and came up stairs smashing on my door again to scream racist things at me through the door about killing "white people" then he'd go back down and go on like this for awhile then come back and smash on my door again. Rinse and repeat. This has happened many times other than last night. On January 5 he tried to smash down my door to and I quote verbatim "cut off my head and piss on my dead body and "I'm going to kill you Kafir and cut you up into pieces and drink your blood." I called 911 while he was doing this and the operator openly admitted she could hear his death threats and him trying to smash the door in. WHY was he doing this to me you may ask? He was doing this to ME because the people in the apartment ABOVE mine play music. NOTHING to do with me whatsoever. I don't even OWN a stereo FYI! The Toronto Police came, they did nothing. They didn't arrest him because he didn't break down my door. FFS He didn't break the door down because I had my entire weight against the door stopping it from breaking down not from his lack of trying! They told me I need to speak to Toronto Housing. I spoke to Toronto Housing and they told me I need to speak to the TORONTO POLICE! They both CHOOSE to put people in danger because they are afraid of being being called "ISLAMOPHOBIC" so they IGNORE a MADMAN LIKE THIS to endanger our lives don't matter to either the Toronto Police OR Toronto Housing! It's like the Ferguson Effect on steroids here in Toronto Housing and Toronto in general with their inaction against dangerous people like this guy once they discover the person is black and Muslim. It's ironic that my thoughts were when I moved here that since I had no issues with people's religion or color so assumed I'd have no problem living here but I've faced a lot of discrimination as well since moving here as well (there are many nice people here that are both black and Muslim but there are far too many angry people who don't like anyone that isn't black as well) I'm all for being tolerant of others but why do they think it's acceptable to be so intolerant of me and why do the authorities ENABLE this intolerance? Why is our government so obsessed with "right wing extremists" but allowing this sort of thing to happen all the time. I never considered they'd have an issue with MY RIGHT to EXIST. I speak of the man's religion and colour because it has a direct bearing on the attacker and their inaction. Tolerance should be on all sides but this has been overlooked and ignored and the same one way hypocrisy and Insanity has become widespread not only by our Mayor, John Tory, The Toronto Police but is widespread throughout Canada wide thanks to the media and Liberals! I'm done with being PC about this when it's MY life on the line! If we are expected to be a tolerant society isn't that SUPPOSED to mean EVERYONE? Obviously not!
